Open it

Chinilla runs in your browser. Nothing to install:

Works in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Your designs save in the browser by default.

On your phone

Chinilla has a phone-friendly version. When you open it on a phone, the app drops you at /m/workspace?id=<project> with three tabs:

Canvas — pinch to zoom, drag to move, tap any block to see its details (numbers, behavior, requirements, scaling, cost, protocol).
Chat — ask Chinilla AI about your design (read-only — you can’t edit from your phone).
Info — project summary, account, list of every block.

Add it to your home screen

The phone version installs like an app:

iPhone (Safari): tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Android (Chrome): tap the menu, then Install app (or Add to Home Screen).

Once installed it opens fullscreen with no browser bars. Real iOS and Android apps are on the way.

The canvas, simulator, behaviors, templates, and every export (PNG, SVG, GIF, JSON, Markdown spec) are free. Pro adds the AI features: chat, stability analysis, stress testing, and richer specs.
