Submitting a Token to the Chinilla Database
Introduction
This tutorial assumes that you have already minted your CAT and are now ready to list it in our database.
Prerequisites
There are a few prerequisites to keep in mind before submitting a token to the Chinilla database
- Badge image, must be a transparent *.png or *.webp file with exact dimensions of 1000x1000px.
- While you can submit any token to our database, it will not display on the site until it has been verified and approved. Our instant verification process is as simple as uploading an offer to the Offer Trader containing your new token. This can be done as soon as you have submitted your token.
- Token code mush be two to five alphanumeric characters, with no spaces and cannot already exist in the database.
- Lisp and CLVM is not required, however, including it will help in expediting the approval process of your token.
- Please tryto provide as many support avenues as possible for your users (Discord, Website, Twitter)
Submitting Your Token
Make sure that you have registered an account on Chinilla.com. Then log in to your account.
From the nagivation menu, select Account > My Tokens.
On the My Tokens page, click he button that says SUBMIT NEW TOKEN and a new form will appear.
Complete the form ensuring that your Asset ID is correct. Do not forget to upload a badge image for your token.
Once you have submitted your token, you will see the pending token in the table. It will show as Pending and Unverified.
- You can verify your token immediately as long as you have issued it. Once it is verified, your token will go through the approval process and be approved, usually within 24 hours.
Verifying Your Token
Verifying in the GUI
Once you have the GUI open, make sure you are in the wallet that contains the new CAT that you just minted.
If you have not added the token to your wallet yet, you can do so by navigating to Tokens and clickcing Manage Token List.
Add and toggle your new token on so that you can access it.
Navigate to Offers and then click CREATE AN OFFER.
Create an offer where you are offering 1 of your new tokens in exchange for 1 HCX. A fee is optional.
Save the offer and then save the offer file to your computer.

You will see the offer appear in the Offers table in the GUI as Pending Accept.
Click the Share button in the actions column for that offer and then click the Chinilla.com Offers button.
If you don't want your offer to be visible on the site once it is approved you can click Share Privately. Confirm your offer and then click the SHARE button.
Once you see the confirmation stating Offer Shared, your token has been verified.
Verifying on Offer Trader
Complete steps 0 through 7 in Verifying in the GUI to create the offer file.
Navigate to the Chinilla.com Offer Trader
Click to upload or drag your offer file to the upload drop zone. Your offer will be uploaded and processed.
Once your offer file has been processed, you will be prompted with a confirmation if your token was verified.
Final Notes
Once you have completed the verification process, your token will be reviewed within 24 hours. If any additional information is required or we have any questions, we will reach out to you at the email address on your account. You will receive a confirmation email once your token has been approved and is live on the site.
